Step 21

Make sure to be active on the light of lantern group layer which is the topmost layer in the layer panel so far. Then, hit Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E to stamp all the visible layers into a new single layer. I named this layer: stamp multiply. Convert this layer into a smart object. Then go to filter > other > high pass. Set the blending of this smart filter to multiply at 70% opacity.

Select the filter mask thumbnail and mask some areas as marked in red.

And here is the result:

Step 22

I decided to give the scene another adjustment layer: brightness/contrast.

Mask the brightness/contrast on the shining light of the lantern as marked in red.

Here is the result.

Step 23

Next to give more nuance of Halloween, we will add more pumpkins to the scene. Duplicate the pumpkin. Scale the duplicate and place it where needed. Set the blending of the duplicate to screen at 100% opacity.

Give more distant pumpkins by duplicating. Set all the duplicates to screen at 100% opacity.

Step 24

As we did in the previous step 19, add some highlight to areas under the pumpkin where they are placed:

Here is the result so far..

Step 25

Finally, we will set the overall color of the scene. I decided to give three final adjustment layers. Firstly I gave channel mixer set to normal blending at 89% opacity, the second was selective color set to normal at 100% opacity and the last one was vibrance set to normal at 100% opacity.

And here is the result...
