Step 11

Create a new layer (Clipping Mask) and use soft white brush to paint on the cat contour to brighten and remove dark parts remained after cutting out. Change the mode to Linear Dodge 100%:

Step 12

Make a new layer with same settings in step 7 then use Dodge and Burn Tool to darken and brighten to make approriate light and shadow on the cat:

Step 13

I use some adjustment layers (Clipping Mask) to change color of this cat:

Step 14

Add a new layer (non-clipping mask) and I use brush 2-3 px, color #f7f2ed to recreate cat whiskers:

Step 15

Now we'll do the most interesting part of the tut. Make a new layer on the top and set foreground to white. Press F5 to make settings for this brush:

Use Lasso Tool to make a shape of a fish with feather =10 then paint within this selection:

Call this layer "fish base".

Step 16

Make a new layer, choose cloud brush, number 403 to paint on the bottom of this base then add layer mask to remove unwanted parts:

New layer, use brush number 357 to paint on body of this base and mask off some parts:

New layer again, choose number 442 to paint and transform it (Cmd/Ctrl+T), apply layer mask for unecessary parts. Then duplicate it and flip it vertically (Edit-Transform-Flip Vertical) and erase or blur what you don't want:

Step 17

On a new layer, take number 403 and 357 (opacity about 50%) to paint on the tail and body  of this fish cloud and mask unwanted parts as usual:

Choose number 357 with larger size and opacity 100% to paint on the head part of this fish then duplicate, move it downward, rotate, mask it to create a "fish fin":

Step 18

Create a new layer, use number 271 to complete the fish "mouth":

Use number 403 again to fill the fish "body":

Step 19

Take number 357 and 238 to add to the tail:

Use number 743 and 238 to complete the tail:

Step 20

Make some layers on the top. Change color of foreground to #deebf8 and use some cloud brushes to add more texture to the fish cloud:
