Step 31

Open christmas light pack. I choose several pictures and add to the pine on the right of the house, transform, resize and use layer mask to hide unecessary parts :


I choose a big light to place on the top:

Make group for these lights and use a Selective Color layer to change their color:


Step 33

On a new layer above lights group, I use brush with color #d7a865, 3-4 px to make more lights on this pine:


Step 34

Make a new layer, and use soft brush with color #f9e597 to make glowing light from the pine to environment around (house roof, ground, deers, snowman, fence). I set the mode to Overlay 100%:

I make a new layer and use soft white brush to make light on the top of the pine stronger. Put the mode to Overlay 100%:


Step 35

Create a new layer on the top and use snow brush you like to paint on picture:


I add more snow (use another brush) on a new layer and lower opacity to 60% after bluring with Gassian blur, 1.5 px:


I use layer mask to remove and blur snow intensity to get result below:


Step 36

Final step: I use a Levels layer to make picture a bit darker:


I use soft black brush on Levels layer mask to erase selected parts:
