In this Photoshop Tutorial we will create a beautiful Valentine Wallpaper. We will work much on different photoshop tools such as brushes, transform tool, text tool, layer style, custom shape, color and gradient.

Step 1:

 

Create a new document (1024x768 px) and fill it with white.

 
 

Step 2:

 

Create a new gradient fill layer, use two colors: b593f4, ffb0ff with settings:

 
 
 

Step 3:

 

New layer, use Rounded Retangle Tool to draw a path like the pic below:

 
 

Hit Ctrl+Enter to make selection , then press G to choose Gradient tool:

 

Drag a line from top to bottom of selection we have:

 

Right click this layer, choose Blending options:

 
 
 
 

Step 4:

 

Create a new layer, choose Text Tool with Perpetua Tiltling MT ( a default Window font), white color and 300 px to type letter I:

 

Right click this layer, choose Rasterize Type.

 

Right click it again, choose Blending Options :

 
 
 
 

We have:

 
 

Step 5:

 

Create 7 New Layers, use Text Tool with 80 px to type each letter from "love you" on each layer.

 
 

Right click "I" layer, choose Copy Layer Style. Right click "L" layer, choose Paste Layer Style:

 

We will change a bit layer style of this l "L" layer. Right click it again, choose Bevel and Emboss:

 

We have:

 

Right click it again, choose Copy Layer Style then choose 6 text layers (that don't have layer effect yet), click Paste Layer Style.

 
 

Step 6:

 

Click to choose 6 text layers (that shows Love you), choose Rasterize Type. Then choose all text layers, press Ctrl+G to make group for them. Right click it, choose Duplicate Group. Right click group copy, choose Ungroup Layers.

 

Merge all layers selected. Rename it as you like. Duplicate this layer, then choose Edit-Transform-Flip Vertical. Place it like the pic below:

 

Lower Opacity to 40% and apply Gaussian Blur with 1 px. Add Layer Mask and use soft black brush, 100% and 50% Opacity to erase as shown below:

 
 
 

Step 7:

 

Create a new layer and place under text layers. Use soft brush, color 1e1e1e with 40% Opacity, 40% flow to make a soft shadow under letter feet.

 

Choose text layer, reflection layer and shadow layer, move them to the left:

 
 

Step 8:

 

Create a new layer, choose Custom Shape Tool to make a heart shape:

 

Choose hard white brush with 7 px and settings:

 
 
 

Choose Pen Tool, then right click the heart shape, choose Stroke Path:

 

Right click it again, choose Delete Path. This is what we have:

 

Duplicate this layer, merge them all. Duplicate it again and resize it, place it like the pic below:

 
 

Step 9:

 

Create a new layer, use floral swirl brushes, number 2475 and 2469 to decorate "I" letter:

 
 

Step 10:

 

Create a New Layer, use Custom Shape Tool to draw a heart shape on the pic center:

 

After hitting Ctrl+Enter to make selection, choose Edit-Stroke:

 
 

New Layer and use Custom Shape Tool to continue with another smaller heart shape . Apply Stroke effect like the first heart shape.

 
 

Hold the Shift key to keep selection, choose Layer-New layer. Then choose Gradient tool:

 

Draw a line:
